WDX Linear Slides are ready for water, washdown and all weather applications. WDX Polyethylene carriage and end blocks are:

WDX is a very tough material, with the highest impact strength of any thermoplastic presently made. It is highly resistant to corrosive chemicals with exception of oxidizing acids; has extremely low moisture absorption and a verylow coefficient of friction; is self-lubricating; and is highly resistant to abrasion, in some forms being 15 times moreresistant to abrasion than carbon steel. Its coefficient of friction is significantly lower than that of nylon and acetal, and is comparable to that of polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE, Teflon®), but WDX has better abrasion resistance than PTFE. It is odorless, tasteless, and nontoxic and FDA approved.

NOTE: Open Design Allows for Debris Pass-Through During Washdown






To provide a positive mounting to the carriage plate we have inserted 4) 1/4-20 300 Series Stainless Steel PEM Inserts.

WDX-CC
Slides feature FDA Compliant/Washdown Ceramic Coated Aluminum Shafting for super low weight construction.

WDX-SS
Slides feature 300 Series Stainless Shafting (316 for naval and ocean-going applications).
